- I created this investing template for myself (and my friends and family) to help forecast my investments to help me understand how much money I need to set aside to reach my financial goals. I wanted to turn it into a game to make it fun, so I added functionality that projects year-end estimates so I could see whether or not I was pacing to make my goal. This is a fun way to create a plan to retire young and see what it really takes to retire young. I wish someone would have given me this template when I was starting out my career!
